The Ultimate Sam is a really great Ultimate release that provides plenty of ways to display the figure. The unmasked portrait even has a hinged jaw. The accessories include a bitten lollipop, a candy bar razor blade, a severed hand, a burlap carrying bag, two pumpkins one of which lights up), and multiple interchangeable heads. Even with the small feet, the figure stands perfectly fine. Parts swap out with no trouble, and joints feel great. Articulation is very good for a smaller sized NECA figure (about 5″ tall). The sculpt on Sam himself is excellent, with a nice variety of texture work that makes the different areas look and feel unique. Now, significant real estate in Spirit Halloween stores is dedicated to the film, while fans continue to celebrate "Trick 'r Treat" at horror conventions, through social media, and in their own Halloween viewings of the movie. Rightfully, it gained a cult following in the years after its release that has only grown to massive proportions.
